Marc Anthony Fuentes, Sr.
Owner, Funeral Director, Embalmer, Cremationist.
Marc Anthony Fuentes, Sr, has been in the funeral business since 13 years of age, started out working for Trevino funeral home in Beeville, Texas, upon completing his Military service he attended Bee County College then enrolled at Commonwealth College of Mortuary Science in 1978 in Houston, Texas, he served as Chapter President of the College Fraternity Pi Sigma Eta, and was on the Honor Roll. Upon graduation he starting his career in Houston, Texas working for a few Funeral establishments learning and enjoying his chosen Profession. Mark started Guardian funeral home in 2000 in a Little Suite on 4531 Ayers St., then he built his first funeral home 2002 at 5813 Ayers St., which he operated and perform numerous funeral and cremation services until 2014, when he built the State of the Art New location at 5922 Crosstown, complete with 2 chapels with seating capacity up to 300, large foyer, coffee room, several offices and a Crematory, refrigeration units.
Guardian funeral home and Cremation service has been serving about 497 families per year for the last 13 years of business. Marc, Jr., who became a Licensed Funeral Director in 2016 to help his father to continue to serve all families of this community for years to come. Marc, Jr. graduated from Carroll High School in 2013 and attended college and received his business degree in 2015.
