It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Paul Pineda. He was called home on March 10, 2023 at the age of 62.

Paul was born on January 23, 1961 to his biological parents Federico and Maria Del Rosario "Challo" Alanis in Corpus Christi, Texas. In his teenage years he was adopted by his maternal grandparents Aurelio and Luisa Pineda.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many is now at rest. This legacy of strength, love and happiness will live on in our hearts for generations to come.

He is joined now in heaven by both his biological and adopted parents, along with his brothers Richard Pineda and Aurelio "Art" Pineda, Jr.

Paul leaves behind to cherish these memories, his wife Myrna S. Pineda; children: Jason (Sarah) Pineda, Aaron Lee Pineda (Janet Pena), Marlene Pineda, Sebastian Pineda; grandchildren: Logan, Evan, Leah, Nathaniel, Noah, Madeline; siblings: Margarita Pineda, Josie Morales, Luisa (Smiley) Lopez, Dolores Polanco, Yolanda Flores, Martin Pineda, Robert "Bobby" (Sabrina) Pineda, Rebecca (Agapito) Rosales, Maria Carolina "Kina" Ventura, Maria "Bonnie" Alanis, Raul Alanis, Ruben (Lori) Alanis, Rene Alanis, Mary Alice Alanis, John (Angie) Martinez, Yolanda "Yogi" (Elvira) Gomez; special caring niece Bella, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved.

Public Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Guardian Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary and Catholic Chapel Service to be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
