Michael A. Diaz, one of God's special angels, was called home by our Heavenly Father on January 27, 2025, at the age of 49. Born on February 22, 1975, in Corpus Christi, Texas, he was the beloved son of Henry and Maria Diaz.

Michael was a man of many talents, with a deep passion for artistic creativity, including painting and collecting comic books and action figures. While he had many hobbies, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family—especially his loving wife, Melissa, and their daughter, Jasmine.

He attended Bishop High School, where he met the love of his life, Melissa, at a Grupo Mazz dance. From that moment, they were inseparable. They married on November 19, 1999, in Corpus Christi, building a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Michael is survived by his wife, Melissa Diaz; his daughter, Jasmine V. Diaz; his mother, Maria Diaz; his sister, Kim Basurto; and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Michael's kindness, creativity, and unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered. His presence brought light into the lives of many, and while he may no longer be with us, his spirit will continue to shine through the memories he leaves behind.
