Howard Earl Welsh, 45, passed away on June 20, 2021. He was a local resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on U.S. Naval Base Rota Spain. His family returned to the United States where they settled in Corpus Christi. He attended Flour Bluff Schools and graduated from Flour Bluff High School in 1994. He went on to attend Texas A&M Corpus Christi where he received his bachelors.
He worked at many different jobs. Most recently, he was a math teacher at John Paul II before working for Moose International. Howard poured his heart and soul into helping Moose Lodges from California to Nevada and then finally here in Texas as well as Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Kansas. His passion for children is what drew him to the Moose Lodge in the first place and then beyond as a Territory Manager.
Howard is proceeded in death by his father Joseph Patrick Welsh, Jr, stepfather Tommy Joe Rogers, and his brother Duane Edward Welsh.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Welsh and his son William Brodie Welsh, his mother Mary Mae Rogers, brother Joseph Patrick Welsh III (Linda). Howard had a big spot in his heart for children and he had a special place in his heart for Destini Westfall, Kaden Dugat, Dareana Arnold and Hyanci Aronld. He also loved his nephew Philip Welsh as well as his two nieces Andrea Whitmore and Gabriela Whitmore.
Visitation for Howard will be held Saturday, July 10 th at 10 am with services to follow at 11am at Guardian Funeral Home.
A ceremony in his honor and a gathering of friends and family will be held at Aransas Pass Moose Lodge located at 2740 FM 2725 in Aransas Pass TX following the services.
