It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear friend, daughter and sister, Yomeida Gonzales; Affectionately known as "YoYo" at the age of 69. Yomeida was born June 22, 1952 in Beeville, Texas

On Monday, January 31, 2022 surrounded by family and friends she was called upon by heavenly Father.

YoYo was a loving and loyal friend full of warmth and acceptance.  Her love of children was felt by all who were close to her.

While we are deeply saddened by our loss, we are forever grateful for the everlasting presence she leaves behind.

YoYo was a devout Catholic, dedicated to her church and community.  She is preceded in death by her father, Marcelino Gonzales, her maternal grandmother, Jesusita Canales, her uncle and aunt, George and Delia Farias and her aunt, Jovita Gonzales. She is survived by her mother, Olga Gonzales and her sister, Imelda Gonzales. Many cousins and their children.

The family appreciates all the condolences and kind words. The impact she left in life and death is immeasurable and heart warming.  You will be greatly missed Yomeida.

Psalm 37.4  Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Yomeida was a dear friend to many and loved all children. She was a friend who did not judge or criticize. Family was the backbone of Yomeida; her parting has left us with a huge void, but we have been comforted by the outpouring of support of all our family and friends.

Private services at the Corpus Christi Cathedral at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 7, 2022 followed by interment at Seaside Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
