Willie Wilburn Wilhite II, retired Navy chief of Corpus Christi, TX passed away on August 21, 2013. He was born on December 6, 1950 in Ottawa, KS to Willie W. Wilhite and Beulah Rose Wilhite. He is survived by three daughters, Lori Gayle Breland and husband, Carlos Maldonado of Corpus Christi, TX, Danelle Hargraves and husband, Zachariah Hargraves of Cedar Park, TX, and Andrea Wilhite of Austin, TX. Surviving him are one grandson and one granddaughter. He is also survived by sisters Patty Wells, Sandra Teter, and Melanie Harder and a brother Robert Wilhite and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service on September 7, 2013 at 10:30 am at North Beach Access Road on North Padre Island Seashore.
