Obituary

William "Bill" Terry Teter passed away on Friday, March 17th, 2023 with family at his side. Bill was born in Corpus Christi on September 7, 1958, the son of William and Leona Teter. William Teter worked in law enforcement and was a homicide detective in Corpus Christi. Leona Teter worked in the public school system as a secretary.
Bill was a father to two sons, and a loving and caring Dad to 3 step children. As beautifully stated by his eldest step daughter, he taught his children to laugh, love, and treat everyone with kindness no matter what. Bill was the youngest person to achieve a master's electrician license in the State of Texas, a profession that was also a passion. He never passed on a chance to lend his expertise to someone in need and always put everyone else ahead of himself.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cynthia Ann Teter, and his sister, Tracie Diann Teter, whom he loved and cherished deeply.
Bill leaves behind his children, Jennifer, Jaimie, Jason, Justin, and Joshua, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Donna Evans, brother-in-law Dana Evans, as well as close friends Nelda Viers and Pat Cavell who were with him in the end.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM, at the Guardian Funeral Home at 5922 Crosstown Hwy. 286, Corpus Christi .
