Obituary
William E. Shugard, 81, passed away January 24, 2015.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Quesada, Alex Garcia, Patrick Horkin, Chris Shugard, Ryan Schichtel
and Nathan Schichtel.
William E. Shugard was born Feb. 14, 1933 in Washington, D.C.
Parents were Francis Rodena (Daurity) Shugard and John Shugard.
William served 4 years in the United States Navy aboard the USS Coral Sea and the USS Midway.
After that he was a police officer in Lubbock, Texas for a few years.
He owned Aarons Painting in Corpus Christi for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Irene C. Shugard and two daughters Kathleen M. (Shugard) Quesada of Corpus Christi, Tx.,
and Lynnie K. (Shugard) Schichtel from Buckley, MI
and his sister Thelma (Shugard) Folen from Florida.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra D. (Shugard) Mac Mane.
He had 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Guardian funeral home chapel "B" with Services to be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd.
