William Darrell Mead, 89, of Ingleside, TX, passed away on March 13, 2024.

Darrell was born on September 23, 1934 to Merle Douglas Mead and Lottie Lee Everett in Hillsboro,
TX.

Darrell served in the US Marine Corp from January 1953 to January 1957, He transferred to the Marine Corp Reserve from January 1957 to  January 1961 and he also served in the Army from August 1962 to June 1966.

Darrell was predeceased by Father Merle Douglas Mead, Mother, Lottie Lee Mead and sister, Jenean McNulty. He is survived by his son William Darrell Mead, Jr of Alvin TX, and his daughter  Joye Lee Samudio (Fred) of Corpus Christi TX, 5 grandsons, Thomas Scott Mead (Erica), Jimmy Douglas McBride (Paige), Jackson Allan McBride, Dillon Craig Mead (Ashley), and William Connor Mead. and 7 great grandchildren, McKenna, Isla, Scarlett, Emma, Arya, Noah, and Normand.
