IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William S.
Isaacson
December 6, 1951 – September 22, 2024
William (Bill) "Ike" Isaacson, passed away September 22, 2024, from complications of MRSA. He was 72 years old.
Bill graduated from W.B. Ray High School, where he played football, class of 1970.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Al and Marge Isaacson, his in-laws, Robert and Kathryn Baer, his sister Carol and her husband Daryl "Chuddy" Crocker, step father Sam Hindman, and step sister Judy Phelps.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela, his sister Cathy Goodge and her husband Dusty, step sons And their wives, Jerome and Monica Chapman (Children Justin, Hailey, and Aubrey), and Christopher and DeAnna Chapman (children Elyse and Blayne), step brother Steve Hindman and his wife, Cindy, brother in law and his wife, Brian and Martha Baer (children Matthew and wife Sarah and their children, and Margaret Ann.)
Bill, or Ike as he was known by his friends, had many lifelong friends, and a love for football, baseball, and basketball, preferring college sports. Any day with a remote and a beer was a good one. You never had to guess where he stood on a subject, because he'd let you know.
Per Bill's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date. He will sit at home with his wife, and his ashes scattered in the Guadalupe River, also at a later date. Many thanks to Bruce, Rodney, Michael, Kevin, David, and Mike who, in addition to family, visited him during the month he was in the hospital. I'm sure he has met up with his buddy Bill Batey, and other friends and pets who have gone before him. He will be missed.
