William"Billy" Harold Gray, 75, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at his home in Corpus Christi with his family by his side. Billy was born in Gorman, Texas to loving parents Harold and Gracie Gray on July 29, 1943. On June 19, 1966 in Winterhaven, California, he married the love of his life, Sharon Lee Woods. Billy and Sharon were blessed with 52 years of marriage and three children.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Currituck and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Following his military service he worked in construction building homes in Southern California. He eventually moved back to Texas where he was a farmer in Central Texas before moving to South Texas where he operated Bill's Auto and Diesel Repair in George West for many years before retiring in Corpus Christi. He was an avid fisherman, loved spending time with his grandchildren, camping, and will always be fondly remembered as an auto enthusiast that loved tinkering with anything with an engine.

Billy leaves behind, to cherish his memories, his devoted wife Sharon; his children: Mary, Bobby, and Stephen (Wileen); his grandchildren: Dannie Marie Epps (Zach Epps), Danielle Garcia, Eli Gray, and Grace Gray; his brother; Fred Gray (Janet); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will have a celebration of life from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m Saturday, October 27, at their home.

Burial service will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 31 at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
