William B. Edge (Bill), 62 peacefully departed at home to join his loving Creator. A loving husband, father, grandfather and son born April 22, 1954 in Hondo, Texas. Bill was welcomed to Heaven with open arms by father William Brown Edge, Sr., Donald and mother Ola Mae Hudson. He is survived by his wife, Odilia M. Edge of Corpus Christi, daughters, Rhonda Edge Martinez (Michael), of San Antonio, Texas, Cassandra Deleon, son John David Deleon, only granddaughter Caitlin D. Deleon all of Corpus Christi, and numerous family members. He attended Tivy High School in Kerrville and followed in the career path of his father where he later graduate from Texas A & M University. He spent forty two years in law enforcement and was dedicated to his calling. He was currently employed by the Nueces County Sheriff's Department as Captain of the Criminal Investigations Department and a licensed Polygraph Examiner. Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Guardian funeral home with an evening service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. February 10, 2017 at the Edge Family cemetery in Boerne, Texas. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by the staff of Davita Dialysis center, and special thanks to Sheriff Kalein, Conrad Guzman and members of the Nueces County Sheirff's Department.
