Wayne Hugh Salazar, 44, passed away March 29, 2014. He was born in Kingsville, Texas on June 10, 1969. Wayne was a machinist and lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. He loved his family and treasured many lasting friendships.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Amy Estrada, his children, daughter, Tabitha Salazar, son, Joshua Salazar, and stepson Ryan Estrada, all of Corpus Christi, Texas. He is also survived by his mother Elizabeth Rae Pike, brother, Louis Pike, and sister, Lilliana Lopez (Jessie) of Corpus Christi, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert (Beto) Salazar.

Wayne loved his children and they will forever carry memories in their hearts of his playful sense of humor and the good times with their dad. He was a big guy with a big heart for his friends, always generous and offering help to anyone in need.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 at 11:00a.m.at Guardian Funeral Chapel, 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi, Texas.
