Obituary

Waukeen Maxwell Eastwood passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 81. Waukeen was born in Harlingen, Texas on January 12, 1943 to James Franklin Eastwood and Lorena Tharp.

Waukeen had a talent for pinstriping cars. He always loved doing it and was well known for it. He was a member of Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as a "Electrician". He also loved to play Dominos with family and friends.

He attended Mary Carroll High School then enlisted in the Army at the age of 17. He met his future wife (Madelaine Brune) at a party and later married her on May 6, 1970 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Waukeen is survived by daughter Monica Kay, a son Waukeen Cash, and common law partner (Lilly Rock), brother James Arthur of Rising Star, Texas, Sisters Mona Lou Thomas (Larry) of Katy, Texas and Elizabeth Eastwood- Bills (Skip) of Corpus Christi, Texas. Also survived by 5 Grandchildren –Katelyn, Waukeen Ethan, Joshua, Avril and Zaiden.

Waukeen was preceded in death by his wife, Madelaine Sue 2007, his father; James Franklin Eastwood and his mother; Lorena Pearl Eastwood. Waukeen was truly loved by family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29th from 9-11am . Chapel Service will begin at 11am and the B urial will follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1pm .
