It is with a sad heart that we announce the following on behalf of Allison Cantrell and family.
Michelle Pflughaupt has been Wanda's primary caregiver for the past 18 months as she has
battled Alzheimer. Please pray for us as we deal with this loss.

Wanda Elizabeth Snell (nee Lewis) was born January 9, 1947, in Liberty, Texas, and went
to be with her Lord & Savior on November 1, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of
77 after losing her battle to Alzheimer. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill
(William Conway Snell), and her parents, Julius Carry and Delma Lee (nee Hunt) Lewis, her
brother Kenneth, her sister Wilma, and her brother Julius Carey, Jr. She is survived by her son,
Derrick Conway Snell; daughters, Lea Snell Williams and Allison Elizabeth Cantrell;
grandchildren, Hayley Michelle Staton, Heidi Monique Staton, Hunter Wayne Staton, Jordan
Deshawn Roberson; great-grandson, Conway Lewis Cantrell; four nieces and two nephews.
Wanda retired from Comanche Construction Company after 30 years of service. A memorial
dinner will be held in her honor later in the Livingston, Texas area.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Guardian Funeral Home & Cremation in Corpus
Christi.
