On March 14, 2014 at his residence in Corpus Christi, TX, W. Alonzo Cumby peacefully departed this life with his family at his side. Alonzo was born September 22, 1960 to the late Willie L. Bruner and Zora Diane (Cumby) Wilson in Bartlesville, OK. To treasure his memory, Alonzo leaves his spouse, Monette Parker Cumby; children, Christina M. Williams, Miranda A. Meckling, Thelmore A. Cumby and Gabrielle M. Cumby; sister, Inola Christine Artemus; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Alonzo will always be remembered for his infectious smile, sparkling personality, amusing humor and generous nature.
