Virginia Acosta Ojeda entered into eternal rest on April 21, 2022 at the grand age of 97.

She was born in Buda, Texas on October 7, 1924, to her parents Guillermo and Angelita Acosta.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother of 5 generations, a baseball fan, sister, aunt, and friend to many is now our angel in heaven.

The beautiful love and strength that she gracefully blessed our family with will live on for generations to come. She was a tough, independent, strong, wise women who came from humble beginnings.  But there was one thing she would not do and that was baby sit.  When asked to baby sit she was very clear and the answer was always NO!

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband , her parents , her 8 siblings , and other family members .

She is survived by her daughters: Anita Hinojosa, Linda Ojeda and Angie Ojeda; 9 grandchildren; 1 3 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; along with countless nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly and friends .

A special appreciation to Patsy, Sarah and Baltazar of Villa Maria Retirement Community, caregiver Mrs. Graciela Acuna, Maria Garcia and staff of Nurses on Wheels, Inc and to Esmeralda Gar z a and staff who cared for Mother during the final leg of her earthly journey.

All Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd ; Visitation will begin at 1 0:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to be celebrated 11:00 a.m. in the Church. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery 9974 IH 37 Access Rd.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons: Tony, Rick, Ryan, Matthew, Aaron, A,J . , Xavier, Micha el, Maddox and Zeke.
