Virginia Ann Coleman (Prasatik); passed away September 1, 2020 at the age of 82.
She was born in Madisonville, Texas on May 29, 1938.

She was preceded in death by her father, August John Prasatik, and her mother, Lora Minnie Barrett

Virginia is survived by her husband: Paul R. Coleman Sr.; her brother: Tom Prasatik (Judy); her children: Paul R Coleman Jr. (Paula), Virginia K. Pippin (Chuck), Lora Mae Coleman (Bodine), and 15 grand children.

Virginia graduated from W. B. Ray H.S. in 1956. She attended Del Mar. Jr. College. She was a member of Del Mar's Vikette's Drill Team

She married Paul R. Coleman on July 3rd, 1957 (this is a special date to help her husband remember their anniversary date.)

Virginia was baptized in the Church of Christ on Norton St. in Corpus Christi, TX. She raised her children with a firm hand and was intolerant of misbehavior, but always had an understanding and loving oversight. Family life was first and foremost in all things she did.

Though her house might not ever make the cover of "Better Homes and Gardens," you were always welcome, and she made you feel right at home.

Virginia was totally involved with her children in their school and classroom activities throughout the course of the year. She always had innovative ideas to offer, and often won first place for "Best Decorated Room" on many holidays.

Her strong family ties extended beyond just immediate family, as was evident by our yearly vacation trips. These trips always included as many of her grand children as she could get to go with her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel ''B".
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens cemetery 8200 Old Brownsville Rd.
