Vina Jean Dolson Wyatt, 90, of Corpus Christi Texas, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, September 23, 2023, at home surrounded by loving family

Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 12, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Robert Otis Dolson and Edna Hall. Jean grew up in Corpus Christi, and was a graduate of Del Mar College. She continued her education at Texas A&I University-Corpus Christi where she studied Counseling. An accomplished woman, Jean diligently served her community as a social worker at MHMR/Corpus Christi State School for 30+ years.

She is survived by her daughters; Susan Morris and Nancy Weber, her step-daughter Evelyn K. Mayo, and her son, Charles Evans Wyatt Jr. She is also survived by her brother James Dolson. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Jeremy Morris, T'ai Li Lawson-Muniz, Molly Wyatt, and Emma Wyatt. She is also remembered by her 7 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Wyatt Sr. Lastly, Jean will be missed and remembered by her best friend of 5 decades, Rickie Ehle.

Jean was an animal lover at heart, her boundless compassion extended to all living beings, endearing her to those privileged to have crossed her path. We take this opportunity to remember and celebrate a life well-lived, recognizing the remarkable influence Jean had on those around her.
