In Loving Memory of Vidal Garcia Jr.
June 25, 1955 – June 16, 2026
Vidal Garcia Jr. entered into eternal peace surrounded by the love and prayers of his beloved family on June 16, 2026, at the age of 70. Though his passing leaves a tremendous void in our hearts, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord, reunited with his beloved son, Vidal Ray Garcia III, and those he had long missed.
Vidal was a man who valued people deeply. He may not have had much materially, but what he gave freely was his time, his presence, and his love. Family meant everything to him, and whenever he came to town, he made it a point to visit loved ones, even if only for a brief moment. To Vidal, staying connected mattered.
He will be remembered for his giving heart and thoughtful nature. He enjoyed handing out small gifts and trinkets such as bracelets, keychains, and other simple items; these gestures were his way of showing appreciation and love. Because Vidal was selective with how he spent his money, every gift he gave carried meaning and intention. He also enjoyed volunteering his time helping provide food and, at times, clothing to those in need, reflecting the compassion he carried for others.
Vidal had a joking personality and enjoyed making people smile. His kindness, humor, and genuine spirit left lasting impressions on many people throughout his life. Toward the end of his journey, Vidal became quieter and chose to step away from calls and communication, not because he did not love his family, but because he wanted to be remembered as the man they always knew and loved—not through illness or pain.
One of the greatest lessons Vidal leaves behind is the importance of loving intentionally, staying connected with family, and never waiting for difficult moments to reach out to those we care about. He reminded us that love is not measured by money or possessions, but by presence, effort, and time spent together.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Vidal Ray Garcia III; his brother, Nicolas Garcia; and his parents, Bidal and Anita Garcia.
He is survived by his daughters, Norma Garcia and Amanda Garcia (Joe), and his son, Adam Garcia, along with his grandchildren, Henry Garcia, Cierra Garcia, Joe Herebia, and Thalya Garcia; his great-grandchildren, Cayden Johnson and Cali Garcia; his sisters, Nellie Garcia, Eloisa Gonzalez, Angie Shaw (Greg), Clara Davis, Paula Serna (Vince), Linda Zuniga, and Maria Salas; and his brothers, Bidal Garcia, Joe Garcia (Norma), Hector Garcia, and Guadalupe “Wally” Garcia (Rosie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
