Victoria Soliz Villarreal, 73, passed away on February 10th, 2020 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born in September 28, 1946 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was a loving mother, a caring grandmother mother and wonderful great grandmother. She will always be remembered by the lasting impression of those who's hearts she touched. 1 Corinthians 13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Victoria was an epitome of love and because of that her love will live on through those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alfonso Soliz and Modesta Rios and brothers and sisters  Soliz, Roberto Soliz, Ramon Soliz, Lalo Soliz, Chenta Gonzalez, and Emma Cantu. She is survived by her children and spouses; Jerry Benavidez (Amanda), Gilbert Benavidez, Amanda B. Garza (Tomas); brothers; Lee Soliz, Bill Soliz and Jay Soliz; grandchildren; Jacob Benavidez, Brandon Benavidez, Briana Benavidez, Kristin Benavidez, Toni Quesada, Fernando Pena, Aidyn Garza, and Austin Garza; great grandchildren; Kaydence Benavidez and RJ Benavidez.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday February 14 at 5pm-9pm with a holy rosary to be recited at 7pm at the Guardian Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held on February 15 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11:30am with a burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 1pm.
