Portland, Texas – Victor Garza, 52, was called to join our Lord on September 4, 2021. He was born on May 26, 1969, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Raul and Maria Luisa Garza.  He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, riding motorcycles, being a grandpa, and being a postal worker.

He attended Calvary Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church with his wife and family.  He had such a caring heart and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed.  He is preceded in death by his father Raul Garza and his mother Maria Luisa Garza.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Maria De-Jesus Garza; two sons; Justin (Maleree) Garza, Hunter Garza; two stepdaughters; Jacqueline Hernandez and Elizabeth Hernandez; his two brothers, Danny (Cindy) Garza, Mauricio (Lidia) Garza; three sisters, Edith (Rene) Aliña-Mendez, Isabel G. (Raymond) Casarez, and Anna Garza; his two beautiful granddaughters; Elise Neveah and Reagan Rae Garza. He was also loved and adored by his numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 9am – 11am, at Calvary Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church, 7251 CR 2004, W. Buddy Ganem Drive Portland, Texas 78374.  The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11am on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Calvary Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church, 7251 CR 2004, W. Buddy Ganem Drive Portland, Texas 78374. Burial will follow at Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410.
