Vicky Ann Poole passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 73.

She was born on January 13, 1948 in Jasper, Texas to her parents Hazel and Charles Leo Schoen.

Vicky loved hummingbirds, crocheting, and spending time caring for her many plants. She wholeheartedly enjoyed her job working at Flour Bluff School District and cherished the many relationships she built while working there, with both students and fellow co-workers. Vicky loved her grandchildren more than anything. She enjoyed weekend sleepovers with them, and you could always find her cheering proudly from the stands at their sports events.

Vicky was well loved and special to so many people from various parts of her life and she will be greatly missed.

Vicky leaves behind to cherish her memories, 4 children: Cristi Poole (Cosme Garza), Julie (Omar) Gonzalez, Tammy (Kevin) Merritt, Alvin Boquet; 11 grandchildren: Lauren, Hunter, Alyssa, Joshua, Evan, Kendal, Ashley, Gage, Wesley, Melissa, and Kevin; 6 great-grandchildren: Nova, Nirvana, November, Annabelle, Autumn, Koa; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom she loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Charles, Nonie, Hazel, and Virgie.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A.
