Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicente Falcon Villarreal Sr., who departed this life on October 15, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on April 5, 1935, in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Jose Maria Villarreal and Graciana Falcon, Vicente lived a life defined by love, hard work, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Vicente proudly served in the Mexican Military Reserves, reflecting his sense of duty and commitment to service. Throughout his life, he demonstrated perseverance, dedication, and a strong work ethic. He spent many years working in agriculture before continuing his career with Brown & Root. A man who enjoyed working with his hands, Vicente was always willing to put his skills to use to help others. Whether something needed fixing or a helping hand was needed around the house, he was ready to lend his time and talents without hesitation. His willingness to help others was simply part of who he was, and he never hesitated to put someone else's needs before his own.

Above all, family was the center of Vicente’s life. He was the beloved husband of Blanca Rosa Villarreal, with whom he shared nearly 50 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love and countless cherished memories.

Vicente is survived by his children: Graciana Gutierrez (Raymond), Rosey Morales, Vicente Falcon Villarreal Jr. (Patricia), Sabina Benavente (Heraclio), Cassandra V. Garcia (Rick), Blanca Rosa Banda (Jon), Minerva V. Lucero (Manni), and Armando Villarreal (Karina). His legacy continues through his 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, each of whom he loved dearly and who brought him immense joy. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Vicky Villarreal Bedard, whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who knew and loved her.

Vicente had a wonderful sense of humor that could bring a smile to anyone's face. He loved to joke, share a laugh, and brighten the day of those around him. With his ever-present smile and warm personality, he had a way of making people feel welcome and at ease. Whether sharing a laugh, enjoying a dance, or sitting down for a warm cup of coffee, Vicente treasured the moments spent with family and friends.

Those who knew Vicente will remember not only his joyful spirit, but also his generous and selfless nature. He showed his love through his actions, giving freely of his time, sharing his knowledge, and using his hands to help those in need. He found purpose in being there for others, whether offering a word of wisdom or helping repair something in someone's home. These acts of kindness reflected the kind of man he was: thoughtful, resourceful, humble, and always willing to help others.

Vicente Falcon Villarreal Sr. leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, laughter, hard work, generosity, and devotion to family. His example of selflessness and his ability to find joy in life's simple moments will continue to be cherished by generations to come. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

May he rest in eternal peace.
