Veronica P. Woods, Age 59 entered into eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 8, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on December 6, 1954 to Vernis Scott Pendergraff and Isaac Pendergraff in Refugio Tx. She attended King High School in Kingsville, Texas. Veronica graduated from Texas A&I (Kingsville) with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and later obtained a Masters of Social Work from the University of Houston. She was also a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. Her career extended beyond the State of Texas where she was employed for 20 years as a child protective worker and CVS Program Administrator.

Veronica leaves behind to cherish her memories her beloved husband of 30 years Neal Woods, her much loved daughter Tomekia Woods Williams. Her two cherished grandchildren, Tanisha Woods and Christopher Williams. Her cousins raised as her sisters, Denise Scott Williams and Susann Scott as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous cherished relatives.

Funeral services will be held at Guardian Funeral Home 5922 Crosstown S.H. 286 Corpus Christi, Texas on April 12,2014 at 11:00 a.m.
