Verda Belle Boiser was called to home on October 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. She was born on September 12, 1918 in Inez, Texas to John Tisdale & Josephine Washington Tisdale. She was a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother who devoted her life to God, family & the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, traveling to church conventions with her missionary groups. She is preceded in death by her first husband Floy L. Hughes and second husband James S. Boiser. She was also preceded by six sisters and four brothers. Verda is survived by her two sons, Troy L. Boiser of Houston, Texas and John R. Boiser of Alice, Texas, two step-daughters, Rita Felder and Pat (Sylvia) Hughes, God daughter Robbie Brown, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews. Wake will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Guardian funeral home located at 5922 Crosstown expressway State Hwy. 286 South in Corpus Christi, Texas 78417.
