Veneda Vivian Westbrook, 94, went to rest in the arms of Jesus on June 13, 2022.

She was born May 17, 1928 in Corpus Christi to Elizabeth Florance 'Lizzie' (nee Parry) and George Trenton Westbrook. She attended schools at Aberdeen. She lived in Beeville, Alice and Premont before returning to Corpus in the nineteen eighties. She has spent her last years in the Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Airline at Saratoga.

She was preceded in death by her parents, former first husband Arthur Frank 'Sonny' Berthold and former second husband Robert Duard RD 'Bob' Frazier Sr., a son Robert Duard 'Bobby" Frazier, Jr, two stepsons Leroy Frazier and Fred Frazier, a step daughter Barbara Samples of WV, a granddaughter Serina Ann Smith, sister Clare and brothers Calvin, Silas, Travis, an infant brother and an infant sister. She is also preceded in death by her Daughter in law Kathy.

She leaves behind four children: Gloria (Richard) Smith of Ingleside, Art (Dee) Berthold of Orange Grove, Janice Perry of Kerrville, Frank Berthold of San Angelo. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, a brother James (Barbara) Westbrook of Harwood and a sister Virgie Zajac of Burlington, MA as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of her life will be at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi, on Monday, June 20,2022 at 11:30 a.m. Services will be officiated by her son Frank, minister of the Chadbourne North Church of Christ in San Angelo. She will be laid to rest beside her father in the Sunshine Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. that afternoon on the corner of Wooldridge and Rodd Field Road.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of CCNRC, Altus Hospice and Nurse Misty Branham for the loving care they provided to Neda.
