Vanessa Doreen Dixson, age 63, passed away July 8, 2026. She was born on June 28, 1963 to Herbert and Betty in Miami Florida. She was dedicated to providing quality care as an LVN of 30+ years and being a faithful servant to our Lord and savior.

Vanessa was a loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Grammy, and friend to so many. Vanessa enjoyed fellowship and togetherness with loved ones and celebrating all life achievements! She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, quiet nature, sense of adventure service in the community and devotion to Family. She had such a great passion for worship in song, dancing, sharing Gods’ word and love. She was one of the most amazing women to ever have existed. She never met a stranger or hesitated to lead in prayer.

Vanessa is proceeded in death by her father, Herbert Alfonso Dixson Jr and brother, Herbert Alfonso Dixson III.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother Betty Harkley, sons, Ciro(Tiffany) and Justus, grandchildren Joseph(Kylie-Nikole), Ezekiel, Tatiana, Karma, and Ce’Vante, Sister’s Betty and Dinita, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial service and celebration of life will be held 5:00PM on Monday, July 27, 2026 at her home church, Corpus Christi 7th Day Adventist Church located at 645 Downing St., Corpus Christi, TX 78414.
