Trudy George Hansen, 59, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on August 14, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1966, in Dalhart, Texas, to Douglas H. George and Judy (Bridgeman) George.

After graduating from Dalhart High School, Trudy moved to Corpus Christi, where she later married Roger Hansen. They shared 23 years of marriage together.

Trudy had a deep love for animals and a generous spirit for helping others. She fostered two girls during their formative years, and even into adulthood they remained proudly known as "her girls." She cherished being part of their lives and the lives of their children.

Trudy is survived by her husband, Roger; her daughters, Arrianna Alizae Perez and Laila Marie Vasquez, both of Corpus Christi; and her beloved grandchildren, Lelilani May, Cassian Ray, D'yami Rose, and Yahritiza Daisy, with whom she treasured spending time. She is also survived by her sisters, Annetta Hadley (Keith) and Jolene Broad (Jon); her brother, Douglas George (Angeline); nieces and nephews, Hayden Hadley, Heath Hadley, Jacob Scott, Trey George, Jessica Broad, Katie Broad, and Jaycee George; as well as three great-nephews, Hayes, Carter, and Graham. She was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Harrison Hadley.

Family and friends are invited to join Trudy's immediate family for a graveside memorial at Centerville, NM on September 6th at 10am CST. Trudy will be laid to rest next to her dad.  The family will host a visitation on September 6th at 1:30pm CST in Dalhart Texas at Central Methodist Church, 601 Rock Island, Dalhart Texas.
