Tristan Daniel Fries passed away December 27, 2021 at the age of 19.
He was born on May 9, 2002 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

If only one word could be used to define Tristan's life it would be FEARLESS. Beginning his transition at age 13 to live as his authentic self. He was a brave and courageous advocate for the disabled, mental health, and the vast LGBTQ communities.
In the face of adversity, he stood strong; overcoming multiple surgeries through the years, lots of physical therapy, hard work to recover to improve mobility and his overall quality of life.

Filled with the joy of life he played a variety of sports over the years for the Miracle League and Special Olympics. He was a member of Chess Club through most grades growing up and even competed in several scholastic tournaments. He attended Flour Bluff ISD from kindergarten and proudly graduated FBHS in 2020. Eager to further his knowledge he earned certifications in graphic design through Shaw Academy. There was never a moment of rest for Tristan as he was actively working on creating digital music, digital artwork/design pieces orders online, and seeking outside employment to be a productive member of society

He was the best uncle "NinNin," to 4-year-old niece, Lilliana, 1-year-old nephew, Hunter, and loved to watch them learn and grow and achieve milestones. Overall Tristian has a zest for life whether it be spending time with his cat, Sandy, being an avid music lover/fan, especially Twenty One Pilots; being very active in politics and assisting with campaigns, especially Andrew Yang or watching the sports he loved like baseball and football, especially St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Green Bay Packers football teams. His legacy of love will live on for generations to come.

Tristan is survived by his parents: Troy and Angela Fries; siblings: Joshua and wife Megan Thorne; Erica and husband Ronald Reagan, Jr.; niece: Lilliana Reagan; nephew: Hunter Reagan; Maternal Grandmother: Cynthia Bonifer; Paternal Grandmother: Diane Fries; Paternal Grandfather: Richard Fries; Aunt Lorelei and Uncle Stephen Stenseth, cousins Nathaniel, Kai, Griffin, and Milo Stenseth; Uncle Toby and Aunt Jodi Fries

He was preceded in death by his best friend, maternal grandfather, John Haas.

The outpouring of love and support that each of you have provided to our family during this most difficult moment in our lives is overwhelmingly beautiful.
