Trinidad "Tony" Infante III, 81, was born to Trinidad Infante II and Francisca Najar in Brownsville, TX on January 24, 1941 and passed on December 9, 2022 in Corpus Christi, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Francisca, and his sister, Virginia Vasquez. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly sixty years, Gloria, a sister, Maria Elena Infante, a brother Salvador Infante (Judy), his children Laura (Steve), Susie (John), and Larry, his grandchildren Sarah (Michael), Ronnie (Ashley), Jared (Zaida), Stephen, Benny, Samantha, and Julia, and his great-grandsons, Lennon and John Paul.

He married the love of his life Gloria Sanchez on February 24, 1963. Together, Tony and Gloria have three children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Tony proudly served his country as a Marine, worked as an electrician for Pan American Airlines, and ultimately built a successful career and retired from the United States Postal Service after thirty-three years. Retirement all but slowed him down. He then served as a substitute teacher in CCISD for many years, and more recently as the Commandant for the Marine Corps League Military Honors Team. He was the Dallas Cowboys biggest fan, and loved fixing up his home of fifty years, as well as the homes of his children and grandchildren, as long as they could attempt to answer his abundance of sports trivia questions! However, the greatest joys of Tony's life were serving the Lord through his vocation as husband and father. He never missed Mass on Sundays, and knew that all he had came from God. Tony loved and trusted the Lord, and shared before his passing that he and his wife Gloria had been abundantly blessed throughout their lives together, and that he was deeply grateful for this. All who knew him speak of his friendliness, generosity, story-telling, helpfulness, and hard-working self-sacrificial nature. And if you knew him well, you undoubtedly earned one of his world-famous nicknames. Tony was a good and faithful servant, and was loved beyond words by all of his family and friends.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel ''A" with a Holy
Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Burial with full military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery 9974 I.H. 37 North Access Rd.
