IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Aleman

In Loving Memory of Tracy Aleman
Beloved Daughter, Granddaughter, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, and Friend
June 2, 1964 — April 27, 2025
Tracy Aleman devoted her life to the service of others, offering hope, strength, and unwavering support to those navigating the path to recovery. A woman of extraordinary empathy and resilience, Tracy turned her own journey into a beacon for others, reminding those struggling with addiction that they were never alone.
Through her deep commitment to the mission of Alcoholics Anonymous and her years of service as a licensed chemical dependency counselor, Tracy helped countless individuals take their first steps toward healing. She was known for her tough love—honest, direct, and always rooted in deep compassion. Her belief in people was boundless, and her life was a powerful testament to transformation and purpose.
Tracy found peace and purpose in the simple joys of living—traveling, laughing with family, and especially spending time at the beach, which she often called her church. The sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun, and the wide open sky were where she felt closest to her Higher Power and most at home with herself. Tracy cherished every moment shared with her parents, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, filling those moments with love, presence, and gratitude. She believed that life was not just about recovery—it was about rediscovery, and she lived each day with that in mind.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Josephine Aleman; and her grandmothers, Natalia Gamez Chacon and Celia O. Levrier.
She is lovingly remembered by her father, Jose F. Aleman; her sisters, Cynthia Van Vleck and Sandra Lecocq; and by the many lives she touched with her encouragement and grace. Tracy's legacy lives on in every person she helped find the courage to begin again.
"The natural consequences of my decisions led to moments of clarity that when strung together said, 'Tracy, you are gonna need help from something greater than you,' Thank you God for a 12 Step program, my Mom and Dad and the rest of my family." — Tracy Aleman
In honoring Tracy, we remember not only what she overcame, but how deeply she gave of herself so others could rise.
