Traci Lynn Bryant passed away on June 4, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 46.

Born on April 16, 1980, in Harris County, Texas, Traci was the daughter of Michael Edward Owens and Linda Sue Deatherage Owens. She was raised in Texas and built a life centered around family, creativity, perseverance, and a lifelong love of music.

On June 4, 2013, she married Daniel Wayne Bryant, the love of her life. Together they built a life founded on hard work, loyalty, and devotion to family. Daniel preceded her in death on October 24, 2025.

Traci was a business owner and entrepreneur whose most recent endeavor was Cutting Edge Glass. She worked tirelessly to provide for her family and took great pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout her life.

Outside of work, Traci was an avid singer, songwriter, and musician. Music was one of her greatest passions and a constant part of her life. Of all the roles she held throughout her life, being a mother was the one she treasured most. Kaynin was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into raising, supporting, protecting, and encouraging him throughout his life. Her love for her son was evident in everything she did, and she never stopped putting his needs ahead of her own. The bond they shared was one of the defining relationships of her life.

Traci was also known for the fierce loyalty she showed to those she cared about. She was the kind of friend who stood beside people through both celebrations and hardships, offering support, encouragement, and honesty when it was needed most. If you were fortunate enough to call her a friend, you knew she would show up when it mattered.

Her love extended beyond family and friends to the animals she cherished throughout her life. Gizzy, Sophie, Toby, and Lucy were beloved members of her family and brought her tremendous joy. Those who knew Traci will remember her creativity, determination, resilience, generous spirit, and the deep love she shared with the people and animals fortunate enough to be part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wayne Bryant, and her father, Michael Edward Owens.

Traci is survived by her mother, Linda Owens of Bandera, Texas; her son, Kaynin McMurtry of Corpus Christi, Texas; her brother, Brian Pourciaux Owens of Bastrop, Texas; her sister, Crystal Owens of Livingston, Texas; and numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has been selected. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
