Over the years he lived in Houston and Austin as well as in Corpus Christi, Texas. Where he was born. Spending his life with his mother, until God called her home in January 2020. He enjoyed meeting new people and always had time to talk to any friend he ran in to out in the world. He was very involved in local politics and was a familiar face at the Nueces Courthouse, assisting with elections.
He was a supporter of the Military and was very proud of every family member that served. Since he could not serve himself having been disabled.

Garcia, his grandfather Onofre "Frank" Leal, his aunt's, Sylvia Ybarra and Teresa "Terry" Garcia, his uncle's Juan "J.O."
