Tommy L. Thompson passed away June 29, 2019 at the age of 76.
Born in Corpus Christi, Texas to his parents Robert and Dorothy Thompson on March 8, 1943.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Tommy proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He continued to dedicate his time through civil service at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, where he would retire.
He will be remembered by his contagious smile, his giving heart, and his zest for life.
Although he is no longer with us, the many laughs and lessons which he blessed us with will live on forever.
Tommy leaves behind, to cherish these memories, his devoted wife Connie Thompson; sons: James Emmet Thompson and Rodrick Lance Smith; numerous other members of the family and a plethora of friends whose company he always enjoyed.
Public Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 at Guardian Funeral Home, Chapel A with a Celebration of Life service to start at 10:00 a.m.
Burial with full military honors will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery 9974 I.H. 37 North Access Road.
