Tita Torres Amador was born February 6, 1932 to Atanacio Torres and Elena Delesa in Laredo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Candelario, and her husband of 33 years Louis Amador Sr.
She is survived by a daughter, Dora Hidalgo, a brother Juan Jose Ramirez, 3 sons: Eldad Lopez, Louis Amador Jr., and Ricardo (Lafira) Lopez Sr.; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, other family members and many, many friends.
Tita was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1965 at an assembly in Corpus Christi. She was known for her steadfastness in her beliefs. Everyone knew of and was a recipient of her generous and giving spirit.
She died faithful to her heavenly Father, Jehovah, and his son, Christ Jesus, on January 14, 2017, at the age of 84. She will be missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Public visitation for Tita will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017, at Guardian Funeral Home in Chapel B, with a Talk service to be held at 7:00 p.m that evening. Saturday, January 21, 2017, the funeral home will reopen at 9:00 a.m. for public visitation, we will be departing to Memory Gardens Cemetery in a funeral procession at 10:30 a.m for a burial at 11:00 a.m.
