Timoteo Benavidez, Jr. passed on March 10, 2022 at the age of 61. He was born in Rio Grande City, Texas to Genoveva Benavidez and Timoteo Benavidez, Sr. on July 17, 1960. He grew up in Rio Grande City where he would learn the trade of carpentry and would eventually leave to Corpus Christi and Fort Worth to help build homes for a living.

A beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many is now at rest. He was preceded in death by his mother Genoveva Benavidez, father Timoteo Benavidez Sr. and brother Adrian Benavidez.

He is survived by his children Joshua Benavidez, Samantha (Eric) Trevino, Martin Luna Jr. , and Jacob Benavidez; grandchildren, Annalise Mary Trevino and Nickolas Luna; siblings Maria Iris Vela, Marivel Ybarra, Julia King, Mingo Benavidez, Daniel Benavidez, and Daniel Lynn Hamby; along with numerous extended family members and friends whom he loved and loved him.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel "A". Family will being gathering at 4:00 P.M. , friends at 5:30 P.M. , with the service to begin at 6:30 PM.
