Tom and Nancy were one in heart, inseparable in life, and traveled together to their eternal home on May 21, 2024.

Thomas Haddon Gray was born on June 7, 1955 to John and Nancy Gray.  Nancy Jeanne Bowman-Gray was born on February 16, 1945 to Helen and Raymond Young.  Tom and Nancy were married on August 7, 1999 and have been together in love ever since.

Tom is survived by his parents John and Nancy Gray, sister Elizabeth McGovern (Jay), daughter Wendi Spence (Matt), and 4 nephews and their wives and children.

Nancy is survived by her brother Bruce Young, sister Laura Cariveau, son James Bowman, daughter Shawna Bowman-Tamez, and grandchildren Kathryn and Kristofer Tamez.

Tom had a passion for marine life, earning his masters degree in marine science, starting a business called Reef Artisan, and cultivating corals and marine life in his saltwater aquarium. He was passionately in love with his wife Nancy, his daughter Wendi, and all his family and loved ones. He courageously endured trials and suffering, finding joy in the journey, hope in the future, and confidence in spending eternity with God. Tom lived his faith, trusting God with serenity in all circumstances, gratitude for all that he had, and love for the people in his life.

Nancy had a beautiful spirit which was often portrayed in her artwork. She served her country in the armed services and worked in social services to help women in need. She was fiercely committed to Tom, her children, and grandchildren.  Her quiet spirit had a calming effect to bring contentment and peace in any and every circumstance.

Funeral services for Tom and Nancy will be held at noon on Friday, June 21, 2024 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 3026 S Staples St, Corpus Christi, TX  78404. Graveside service will follow at 2:00pm at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78410.
