Teddy Lou
Burt
May 6, 1944 – August 13, 2025
Mrs. Teddy Lou Burt (née Glenn), age 81, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on May 6, 1944, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Teddy's journey was one of dedication to family, community, and personal passions.
A proud graduate of Bishop High School in Bishop, Texas, Class of 1962, Teddy carried the values of hard work and perseverance into every chapter of her life. She later became a business co-owner of An'T Armature Works, where her commitment and diligence left a lasting
impression on colleagues and clients alike.
Teddy's greatest legacy lives on through her family. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Bobbie Morgan and brother-in-law John Schuetze; her children Jeffery Guettler and his wife Monique, Brian Guettler and his wife Jean, Dola Sanchez, Mickey Rivera, and Tammy Jones; as well as sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Her devotion to family was evident in every aspect of her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles O'Daniel Burt; her daughter Lisa Kaye Solley; her parents Theodore Dubose Glenn and Mildred Thelma Burdette; her sister Ethel Diana Schuetze; and brother-in-law David Linden Morgan.
Among Teddy's many interests, genealogy held a special place in her heart. She spent countless hours tracing family roots and preserving the stories that connected generations—a passion that reflected both her curiosity and deep respect for heritage.
