Suzanna G. Sanchez or "Sue" as she was intimately known completed her earthly journey on December 24, 2022 at the grand age of 91.

She was born in Holland on September 28, 1931 to the late Hendrik and Willemtiena Langeveld. She lived through and was witness to the atrocities of WWII.

Sue always had a beautiful smile on her face, filled with love and joy for her family; her generous and giving spirit could fill any room with great light. In this life she faced many trials, but she never lost hope. Please pray for our family and her beloved husband Hipolito Sanchez, Jr. or "Paul" as he is more well known. Together they shared 60 years of marriage and a wonderful lifetime of happiness. She was his girl, his best friend, and his partner in life. And even through all the loss she experienced with Alzheimer's, he was the one she always remembered. This gift of love that she blessed our family with will live on in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Sanchez; children: Bram Wijk (Loes), Willy Trumps, Christel Werbiski (Mike) and Pablo Sanchez; grandchildren: Nicole Jones (Keith), Duncan Wijk, Simone Williamson, Brittany Fields (Joseph), Lesley Wijk, and Megan Wijk; along with nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Noon Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd.
