Steve R. Guerrero, 66 years of age, passed away to a better place on January 25, 2015. He was born on July 1,1948 in San Antonio, Texas to Rudy Guerrero and Evelyn Guerrero. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son.
He graduated 1966 from Central Catholic High School in San Antonio. He served in the U.S Navy. He settled in Denver Colorado and worked in the Elevator Industry for the next 35 years eventually making his way back to Texas and settling in Corpus Christi where he retired.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rudy Guerrero, his sister Judy Guerrero, his paternal grandparents, his maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, his two sons, Lucas Danielson of Seattle, Washington, Ryan Thomas of Portland, Oregon, his stepdaughter, April Nelson of Breckenridge, Texas, his granddaughter, Emily Thomas of Portland, Oregon, his mother, Evelyn Guerrero, of San Antonio, his sister, Rebecca Huggins and her husband of Clinton, Arkansas, his brother, Michael of San Antonio, the mother of his two sons, Linda Nygaard of Portland, Oregon, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, playing darts and pool, and most all photography. He was well liked and definitely one of a kind, he'll be remembered for his stories, wisdom and his quirky sense of humor. A celebration of his life will be held February 17th from 4-8pm Blue Room at 5301 Kostoryz Rd. Memorial service to be held at St. Paul Catholic Church 350 Sutton Dr in San Antonio, TX February 19 2015 at 6 p.m.
