IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stephanie Dawn
Nessman-Harris
May 5, 1965 – June 18, 2024
Stephanie (Steff) Dawn Nessman-Harris, 59, passed away at her home on June 18, 2024, with Tony, her loving husband, by her side. Born in Independence, MO, she and her family moved to Texas in 1980. In 1994, she married the love of her life, Anthony (Tony) T Harris. They would have celebrated 30 years of marriage on August 20th.
Steff enjoyed adding to her varied collections, expressing herself through her arts and craft projects that she lovingly gave to friends and family and often used in her work settings. She worked in managerial positions for Fox Photo, Hollywood Video, Cinemark, and Chuck E. Cheese. Steff loved promoting events and won several national awards for her efforts. As a co-owner of Voodoo Skates in Aransas Pass, she continued to impact children's lives by developing and maintaining strong friendships with so many. Those who were fortunate enough to work with Steff will never forget her impact on their work and personal lives. Family and friends always knew if there was a holiday because Steff celebrated every single one. She had a massive collection of themed costume hats and tee shirts. At Christmas, she would enlist Tony's help to make sure all 60+ Santa hats and the even larger tee shirt collection were worn to brighten everyone's day! Children especially loved seeing them decked out.
She is survived by her husband, Tony; her children Sean (Priscilla) Nessman, Isabelle Harris and Christian (Rachel) Harris; her brother, David K. Akers; four grandchildren; threegreat-grandchildren and her three cats who never left her side during her long cancer battle. She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry E. and Dorothy A. Akers.
The family is grateful to the Coastal Bend and South Texas Blood Banks and encourages you to donate in Stephanie's memory. They are thankful for the care received by the medical professionals who were part of her journey.
