Stephanie Leon, 42, departed this life peacefully in her home surrounded by family on August 31, 2021.

Stephanie was born April 13, 1979 to Susan J. Williams and Johnny R. Garcia. She was a native of Corpus Christi, TX and relocated to Maricopa, AZ where she resided with her loving husband and children.

Stephanie enjoyed pastimes such as arts & crafts, cooking, fine dining, karaoke and shopping.  After graduating from Flour Bluff High School, Stephanie enlisted in the United States Navy where she worked as a Damage Controlman - Maintenance and Emergency Repair Specialist.

She later went on to pursue a degree in Nursing at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX.   Stephanie worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Manager at Aurora Behavioral Health Hospital in Tempe, AZ where she touched many lives.

Stephanie is joined now in heaven by her father: Johnny Garcia; brother: Howard Stephen Garcia; to include her maternal and paternal grandparents; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins whom have gone before her.

She is survived by her mother: Susan J. Williams; husband: Tommy G. Leon; their children: Savannah I. Leon, Tommy G. Leon, Jr., Michael Nolan Garcia, Victoria G. Leon, Clarissa G. Leon, Austin M. Hall, Luke J. Six and a host of family members whom she loved.

Stephanie will be dearly missed by her family, friends, patients and colleagues.

The family would like to thank our Pastors, David & Lei-Sa Anderson of Be Community Church, Maricopa, AZ for assisting with guiding Stephanie though her transition.

Public Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A with Full Military Honors to follow at the conclusion of the Chapel Service.
Reception to follow at Guardian Hall 5813 Ayers St.
