Sophie Carroll passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Sophie lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, laughter and resilience. She faced life's challenges with quiet determination and grace, raising her family with unwavering love and strength.

Sophie built a life that reflected her courage, her deep devotion to her children, and her enduring spirit.

She is survived by her daughters, Kay Rittgers and Lisa Pineda (Javier) and her son Richard Carroll (Jean).

Sophie's legacy continues through her grandchildren; Jason Rittgers (Sarah), Christopher Rittgers (Erica), Matthew Rittgers (Hillary), Kyle Rittgers, Lindsay Rittgers (Colton), Loren Peña (Ryan), Justin Pineda (Brooke), Camryn Carroll and Jackson Carroll, as well as her may great-grandchildren who brought her joy.

In keeping with Sophie's wishes, there will be no formal services. Her life will instead be honored with a private celebration among family and close friends, reflecting the way she lived – simply, sincerely and surrounded by love.
