Soledad (Chole) Morales, age 66 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away at home on Tuesday May 13, 2014. She was surrounded by her children. She was born in Zacatecas, Mexico to Francisco Maravilla and Flora Raigosa who have preceded her in death. Soledad was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her greatest love was her family. She was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Soledad is survived by her 5 children Lorenzo (Melanie) Nesta, Felipe Nesta, Alcario (Sara) Nesta, Frank (Alexandra) Morales and Angelica Morales. 3 brothers and 1 sister: Rogelio (Maria) Maravilla, Felipe (Celina) Maravilla of Corpus Christi, TX. Catalina (Guadalupe) Ortega of San Antonio, TX and Antonio (Teresa) Maravilla of Los Angeles, CA. . Her greatest joys, her 4 grandchildren: Lorenzo Jr., Anthony and Kristen Nesta and Arianna Soledad Morales.
She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Family would like to give a special thanks to Ofelia Cantu and Maria Tadillo who helped take care of her to her last day.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday May 16, 2014 for the public with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home. Services will be at Mary Mother of the Church 1755 Frio St. Corpus Christi at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 17, 2014 with interment to follow at Seaside Cemetery. A reception will follow at the VFW 4441 Ayers ST.
