Sheryl Ann Good passed away on December 11, 2023 at Bay Area Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Sheryl was born on September 18, 1946 to Fred and Ruth Moraine in Council Bluffs, Iowa where she grew up and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, where she was a cheerleader. In 1964, she met the love of her life, Richard I. Good and they were married on January 21, 1967. The couple have two children, Lisa Lynn born on September 25, 1968 and Richard Ira (aka Skip) born on January 29, 1972.
Sheryl worked at an insurance company in Omaha, Nebraska and the Council Bluffs Public School District Office. In 1977, she attended Iowa Western Community College for her Associate Degree and completed her degree in Teaching from Buena Vista College. After the family moved to Corpus Christi in 1984, she began teaching at the Flour Bluff Independent School District in the Business Department. She retired from teaching in 2007. Sheryl assisted her husband in their woodworking business, R&S Wood Working.
Sheryl enjoyed many activities with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling to the east coast to visit and babysit her beautiful granddaughter, Emily Ann Nelson, who was born on February 25, 2004 and traveling to the west coast to visit with her son and his wife, Annette. She enjoyed playing Bunco, sewing, embroidery, making gifts for people, going to casinos, fishing with her husband, trips to visit family and having family and friends over to her home.
Sheryl is preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents. Sheryl is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard, their children Lisa Lynn (Milton) Cartwright, Richard Ira (Annette) Good, II; granddaughter Emily Ann Nelson; brothers James (Carla) Moraine, Michael (Irene) Moraine, and Richard (Karla) Moraine and sister-in-laws Elana Cohen (Jack)Roth and Margaret Sue (Barry) Bryant and many nephews and nieces. We will miss Sheryl greatly and love her forever.

Public visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Service to Celebrate Sheryl's life to begin at 1:00 p.m.
