IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sheri Sue
Adamez
April 11, 1955 – May 29, 2021
"It's beautiful". With those final words, our beloved Sheri Kelso Adamez, 66, joined our heavenly Father on Saturday, May 29th . She was at home surrounded by family and friends. Sheri was born April 11, 1955 in Baytown, TX.
In her early years, Sheri loved working and riding horses including barrel racing. She was the apple of her dad's eyes. While working in the insurance industry, as a single mom raising her two children, Sheri and Adam met and have spent 28 years together as husband and wife. Sheri was the branch manager at Edward Jones or 20 years until her retirement in September 2020. She took great pleasure in taking care of her family and was her husband Adam's side kick when it came to cooking for the family. No one ever left their home hungry!
Sheri was preceded in death by her sister Jo Elizabeth Kelso and brother Keith Clay Kelso. Sheri is survived by her husband Adam, children Dusty (James) Sullivan and Zack (Britton) Adams; Grandchildren Haley, Emma, Frazier and Alice Sullivan and Holly, Cody and Mason Adams; parents Alice and Frank Kelso, brother Frank Allen (Mari) Kelso, sister-in-law Yolanda Kelso, plus nieces, nephews, other family members and neighbors who are like family to Sheri.
A viewing will be held on Friday, June 4 at 5 pm, followed by a service at 6:30 pm at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown Access Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78417. Burial will be Saturday, June 5, 10 am, at Seaside Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78412. Family and guests will meet directly at the graveside Saturday morning.
We celebrate the legacy of love and memories Sheri has left us with. She was a beautiful wife, loving mother, caring daughter, fun loving grandmother, loved by her family and neighbors, trusted by her Edward Jones clients, and truly a friend to all. Sheri never met a stranger and made everyone feel like a friend and family.

wings; before my God fall on my knees; and rise, I will rise." Chris Tomlin ~ I Will Rise
