Saralee Barboza-Ramirez, 46, went home to be with the Lord, on June 23,2023. She was surrounded at home with her loving family. She was born on September 5,1976, in Corpus Christi, Tx., to BettyJo Schilling-Barboza and Gregorio Barboza.

Sara's life was filled with love, laughter, and family. She was a devoted wife, daughter, daughter-n-law, granddaughter, sister, cousin, friend, and nurse. She enjoyed eating tacos, reading, going to concerts, traveling the world and learning about different cultures, sailing, relaxing on the beach, going to museums, watching movies, cuddling with her fur babies, spending time with her cousins, but most of all spending time with her husband.

Sara graduated from W.B. Ray High School, class of 1994. After high school, she pursued her nursing career, where she graduated from Del Mar College with an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Nursing. She worked at Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital, Fresenius Kidney Care- Acute Unit, and S.W. Transplant Alliance.

Sara is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Pedro and Jesusa Barboza, maternal grandfather, George Schilling, uncles, Juan Barboza Sr., and  Oscar and Fernando Schilling.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Alonzo Ramirez and her fur babies, Hershey, Pepper and Jack, parents,BettyJo Schilling-Barboza and Gregorio Barboza, brother, Gregory Santana Barboza, uncles, Homer, Peter, and Andres (Rosie) Barboza, Aunt Sandy, maternal grandmother, Josefa Schilling, Godparents Joe and Gloria Garcia, father and mother-in-law, Ruben and Rosario Ramirez,  brother-in-laws, Ruben, Roland (Liz), and Alfonso Ramirez, family from Dallas and San Antonio, and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held at Guardian Funeral Home, Chapel "A", 5922 Crosstown Access Rd., C.C., TX, on Saturday, July 1, 2023 , from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary and Celebration of Life to begin at 4:30pm.
