It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our adored mother, Sara Arizola. She passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 86. Sara was born on March 18, 1936 in Durango, Durango. She was a wonderful mother who was always there for family and friends. She was our "Rock" and the glue that held our family together. Our mom loved life and lived it with faith and love for everyone. Her unconditional love, service and mercy for her fellow neighbor, has been the example she set for each of us. We love you mamacita, rest with our Heavenly Father and all your loved ones in heaven.

Mother was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Gonzalo Arizola.

Mother is survived by her brother Juan Marquez; her children: Fred Garza (Carolina), Sylvia Gonzalez (Jaime), Sandra Villaba, Jorge Arizola and Domingo Anguiano (Carmen); grandchildren: Fidel, Patricia, Anthony, Carlos, Veronica, Jacqueline, Sara, George Jr., Maria Gabriella, Federico Jr.; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Samantha, Andrew, Jonathan, Alicia, Emma, Noah, Harley, Andrew Zalo, Sara, Ian, Meghan and Jiselle.

Please join us in celebrating mom's life on Tuesday evening, May 31, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A, the Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Corpus Christi Cathedral Catholic Church 505 N. Upperbroadway. A reception will be held at the Funeral Mass at the Corpus Christi Art Center 100 N. Shoreline Blvd.  78401.
