Sandra A. Ramsey

Sandra "Sandy" Ramsey passed away Sunday, July 3. Sandy was born in San Antonio, the daughter of Robert John and Norma Alice Senich.

Sandy was an active volunteer for many years with a large number of organizations, including R.S.V.P.; Corpus Christi Community Advisory Council; the L.E.P.C.; the CERT team; KEDT; QSRonline; Haas PTA; Police Department CID, Family Violence, and Auto Theft units; and Fire Department. She was particularly interested in promoting health and safety.
Sandy was not only a true community volunteer but also a person interested in helping individuals in need. She crocheted and knitted items for others. She did whatever she could to help someone. She inspired others to get out and do volunteer work. Among her loves were traveling and chocolate.
Sandy leaves behind many people who worked with her, who respected and cared for her, who were amazed at the things she did when others would have given up. She is survived by three sisters, three brothers, and three sons.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m., July 14, at Believe Church, 4420 S. Staples.
